SSG support Plymouth Armed Forces Day

SSG Training and Consultancy Ltd are proud to support Armed Forces Day on 30 June on Plymouth Hoe. As one of over 100 exhibitors attending the day, SSG can be found in the Veteran’s Village.

SSG has a strong history of supporting those with a military background, with many of the consultants and trainers, as well as associate team members, having previously worked in the forces; ranging from the Royal Navy to the Defence Fire Service. SSG Tutor and Consultant Tim Harnett, is currently continuing his service as a member of the Territorial Army Reserves.

In 2017, SSG joined 1,300 other businesses in adopting and signing the Armed Forces Covenant. By signing the covenant, SSG endeavour to provide support in the employment of veterans young and old, service spouses and partners, and support their own employees who choose to be members of the Reserve forces, as well as offering assistance to local cadet units in the community and schools.

SSG are also approved as an ELCAS and CTP training provider, having delivered training to Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Royal Air Force and Army personnel in the last 12 months for both resettlement purposes and ongoing career development.
