Drone Usage
Drone flights are prohibited over the Plymouth Armed Forces Day event site.
We are working with the Civil Aviation Authority and Police to stop illegal drone use. Anyone who operates a drone over this location will be reported for prosecution.

Photography and video recordings at events
When you attend our events including Plymouth Armed Forces Day (PAFD), you enter an area where photography, audio and video recording may occur, including drone recording. The photography teams can be identified by wearing branded hi vis.
By entering the event premises, you consent to photography, audio and video recording and its/their release, publication, exhibition, or reproduction to be used for news, web casts, promotional purposes, advertising, inclusion on websites, social media or any other purpose by PAFD and its affiliates.
By entering the event premises, you waive all rights you may have to any claims for payment or royalties in connection with any use as listed above.
You also waive any right to inspect or approve any photo, video taken by PAFD or the person or entity designated to do so by PAFD. You have been fully informed of your consent, waiver of liability and release before entering the event.

Hoe Road from the mound at the Citadel to the junction of Madeira Road 7am to 10.30pm, with the suspension of parking from 7am to 10.30pm

Citadel Road from the junction of Lockyer Street to the junction of Sussex Street 5pm to 7pm with the suspension of parking from 7am to 7pm

Suspension of parking at Lockyer Street – from the Promenade to the junction with The Esplanades from 7am to 7pm
Diversion: Southside street, The Barbican, Madeira Road, Hoe Approach, Notte Street, Lockyer Street, Athenaeum Street.
The prohibition of driving, parking, waiting loading and unloading will be in operation when the appropriate traffic signs are displayed and is necessary, in the interests of public safety, whilst the event of the Armed Forces Day takes place.
Mountbatten Pier Public Notice
Mountbatten Pier will be closed due to Health and Safety reasons from 3.30pm to 5pm on Saturday 29 June 2024.
This will be to facilitate the Armed Forces Air Demonstrations. Plymouth City Council will not accept any liability for any persons entering the pier and those who do, do so at their own risk.
