We have over 15 schools taking part in this years's exciting Junior Field Gun Competition. Over the last year, we have recruited another four schools which is within our training capacity.
We have displayed in the Piazza advertising Mayflower and we have been invited to Portsmouth to take part in their 75th Anniversary of the D Day Landings. Two schools travelling are Widewell from Plymouth and Stowford from Ivybridge. We have also displayed in HMS Drake with Shakespeare and Burraton Primary Schools.
Preparation for Armed Forces Day is continuing with weekend training sessions at Brickfield's.
The schools taking part in this year's Junior Field Gun Competition are: Marine Academy, Ernesettle , St Joseph's, Weston Mill, Brunel, Burraton, Stowford, Widey Court, Shakespeare, Penny X, St Paul's ,Victoria Road, Boringdon, Hooe, Carbiele, some schools have two crews!
